To welcome a summer’s day at the beach, an hour of dynamic movement training and a swim in the Indian Ocean will wake us up in the best possible way. This workshop is about how to create “a fresh breeze” on stage as an ensemble and with drum beats and singing this gathering will be celebrated. At the end of the week we will present a short performance of “A Fresh Breeze” to an invited audience. The Theatre makers’ workshop will include training your fundamental acting, improvisation and script development skills. Bring your favourite summer outfits so that we can find the best costumes for our show.

Friday 8.30pm – Workshop presentation at Mutima
At the end of a summer’s day we need to find refresh- ment to reawaken our senses. And on stage it is all about being awake and aware. Drumming and singing together will bring us to the next level of an increased awareness. Now we are ready for a mysterious message in a bottle, which is the starting point for a short performance that we will create as a team of theatre makers during this week. Participants will perform and write their own script for the workshop presentation on Friday. The Theatre makers’ workshop with Ralf will include training your fundamental acting, improvisation and script development skills. Bring your favourite summer outfits so that we can find the best costumes for our show.
